UPDATE: Salisbury Police Investigating Two Sunday Night Incidents

SALISBURY, Md. - Two separate incidents under investigation. Both happened last night only a few miles apart. The first, a stabbing which reportedly happened during a robbery in the area of Waverly Street and Ohio Avenue not long after 10:00 PM.

Salisbury Police say the victim was walking in the area when he was approached by two suspects who allegedly attempted to take his wallet, then stabbed him in the leg. They were able to get away with some food items from the victim before fleeing on foot.

The victim got help nearby at Wawa and was taken to Peninsula Regional Medical Center for treatment. Authorities are looking for two black males who were last seen wearing dark colored hoodies.

Around the same time, Salisbury Police responded to a reported assault with a knife on Washington Street. Their investigation shows that a verbal argument turned physical between two family members.

The suspect, Kevin White, 37, allegedly chucked two full beer cans at his mother, hitting her in the chest. During the altercation, he reportedly pulled out a knife and pushed his mother out the door and shut it on her hand, causing a severe cut.

White now faces the following charges: first degree assault, second degree assault and reckless endangerment. His mother was treated at PRMC.
