Winners Announced From 67th Annual Salisbury Christmas Parade

Posted: Updated:

SALISBURY, Md. - Conditions were much different outside Sunday, than they were this time last week.  Winter weather put a damper on the Salisbury Christmas parade but not Sunday, as hundreds lined up to check out the cars, floats, and bands at the 67th Annual Christmas Parade.

WMDT's David Caldwell was on hand as a judge.  WMDT asked parade watchers to tell us their favorite part of the holiday tradition.

Four year old Chase said "the marchers, because they have some pretty cool instruments."

Nine year-old Aneya kept things simple.  Why does she like it? "'Cause I get candy>

This year, the grand marshal's position is dedicated in memory of CJ Abbott, the man who was shot and killed protecting a friend from a gunman back in September.
