DE State Police Investigate Robbery Near Bear

BEAR, Del. - Delaware State Police say they are investigating a robbery of a New Castle woman as she withdrew money from a bank ATM.

According to reports, the incident occurred shortly before 8:00 PM yesterday evening as a 36-year-old woman had just withdrawn money from the Bank of America drive-thru Automated Teller Machine (ATM) located at 230 Fox Hunt Drive in Bear.  As the money was dispensed from the machine, a black male subject reportedly grabbed the undisclosed amount of cash from her hand and fled the area.

Police say the female was not injured in this incident.
