Ocean City Based Film Set To Debut At Sundance

Posted: Updated:

SALISBURY, Md. - The film which became the talk of Ocean City last fall is set to make its big screen debut.

The indy comedy, Ping Pong Summer, will air at the Sundance Film Festival next month. But before it does, WMDT caught up with several Salisbury University students who worked on the film and shared their experiences.

"When I was there, they didn't even have the whole cast picked yet," said senior Kristen Wolfe.

"I was mostly with the [younger actors] and it was good to see, good to know them because they are [new to acting] too, so it was a new thing for both of us," said senior Victoria Paris. "It was the first film I worked on, so having that new experience with them and share, it was nice."

The film, directed by Maryland native Michael Tully, is based on Tully's annual vacations on the beach and stars Susan Sarandon and John Hannah.
