WMDT Rings Bells For Charity

FRUITLAND, Md. - WMDT braved the freezing weather for a good cause Thursday.

Members of the news team volunteered to ring bells for charity at the Walmart in Fruitland. The Red Kettle Christmas campaign is the Salvation Army's most prominent fundraiser. First launched in 1891, it helps the organization provide food, toys and clothing to more than six million people during the holiday season.
