UPDATE: Alleged Salisbury Puppy Thief Arrested

SALISBURY, Md. - Police say they have made an arrest, after a puppy was stolen from a Salisbury pet store last month.

Salisbury Police say on Wednesday they arrested 28-year-old Joshua Utz, of Glen Burnie, in Pittsville, in connection with the November 29th, theft of a dachshund puppy from Salisbury Super Pet.

Police say during their investigation they identified Utz as a suspect, after receiving tips from the community. The dog was returned to the store, by a family member.

Utz was charged with theft less than $1,000 and released to Central Booking.
