Police Searching For Armed Robbery Suspect In Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. - Police are searching for a suspect wanted in connection to a armed robbery in Salisbury.

Officer responded to reports of an armed robbery around 6PM on Wednesday at Thirsty's, located at 1120 E. Church St.  An investigation revealed that the two victims were sitting inside their parked vehicle in front of the building, when the suspect approached the driver.  After engaging in conversation, the suspect grabbed the driver's arm and demanded money and their cell phones.

The victim claimed he saw a handgun in the suspect's waistband and handed over his items.  The suspect then entered a vehicle parked at the gas pumps and fled the area. No injuries were reported in the incident. After reviewing the surveillance video, detectives determined that a second subject was inside the suspect's vehicle, but did not approach the victims during the incident.  

The suspect is described as a black male with a shaved head, approximately 30-years-old, 5'09" with a heavy build. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.  He is believed to be in possession of a dark in color handgun.  He reportedly fled the scene in an burgundy, older model, four door Honda Accord.
