SEAFORD, Del. - A Blades man is behind bars, after allegedly stealing a woman's purse, inside of a local Walmart.

On Tuesday, around 5:45 PM, a Seaford Police officer responded to the Seaford Walmart, after they say a 56-year-old woman was shopping inside, when 28-year-old Brian Taylor came up behind her, and took her purse off her shoulder. According to the report, Taylor fled from the store with the purse, but was apprehended, after a brief foot chase, near the Walgreen's on Sussex Highway.

Police say the victim's purse was recovered, and returned to her. No one was injured during the ordeal. Taylor was charged with robbery. He is being held at Sussex Correctional Institute on $1,100 bond.
