DE Hip Hop Group Helps To Warm The Homeless

Posted: Updated:

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. - A Delaware hip hop group is helping to warm the homeless.

A group of musicians in Diamond State Empire Entertainment is handing out sweatshirts with the group's logo to Rehoboth Beach and Ocean City residents in need on Thursday.

Group members say, after they heard local ministries were looking for help, they jumped on board.

"They got in contact with me saying he needed hoodies and stuff of that nature for the homeless in Rehoboth and Ocean City, so we linked up with them and lent a helping hand," says Donte Goodman, a member of Diamond State Empire Entertainment.

Donte says they designed and paid for the sweatshirts on their own, and they hope to continue helping homeless people and other charities year round.
