HARRINGTON, Del. - A Harrington young man has been charged with stealing laptops from a local church.

Harrington Police say they received several complaints over the first few days of December about burglaries at the Calvary Wesleyan Church on Delaware Avenue. According to the report, on two occasions, someone went into the church, and took laptop computers before fleeing.

After the burglaries, a motion activated camera was installed in the area that the thefts were happening, and officers were able to get a photo of the alleged thief, during one of the burglaries. Police say with the photo, they identified the man as 19-year-old George Curtis.

He was arrested, charged with two counts of third degree burglary, and two counts of theft $1,500 or greater. He was later released on $2,000 bond.
