Easton Police Serve Bench Warrant On Easton Woman

Posted: Updated:

EASTON, Md. - Easton Police say they served a bench warrant on an Easton woman after she failed to appear in district court.

According to reports, Crystal Ewing, 35, of West Dover Street in Easton, was originally charged with driving a motor vehicle on a suspended driver's license and privilege. Her court date was set for November 20th, but when she did not show up, police say the district court judge issued  a warrant for her arrest.

Ewing was reportedly taken before a District Court Commissioner for an initial appearance hearing after she was processed on the warrant at the Easton Police Department. Police say she was released on her own personal recognizance pending trial in this matter.
