UPDATE: Suspects At-Large After Salisbury Armed Robbery

Posted: Updated:

SALISBURY, Md. - Two men remain at-large Thursday night after an armed robbery at university off-campus housing.
Investigators say the incident happened at the 100 block of Cedar Crossing around 12:30 this afternoon, when two suspects reportedly entered a residence with handguns, allegedly accosted several victims and then reportedly stole money and other properties.

Investigators say the suspects fled the scene, which prompted a lockdown for two area schools: James M. Bennett High School and Bennett Middle School. School officials tell WMDT the lockdown was lifted after 20 minutes.

Police also shut down the area of Hasley Drive and South Division Street -- while investigators combed the area.

Police believe the suspects to still be armed.  Salisbury Police Department provided description of the suspects below:

Suspect No. 1 is described as a white male, approximately 35 years old, six feet with a stocky build, dirty blonde hair, beard and untidy, balding hair dressed in all dark clothing and armed with a black handgun.

Suspect No. 2 is described as an unknown race male with a height between five feet six inches and five feet eight inches with thin build wearing all dark clothing.

Police say no one was injured.

Anyone with information on this incident should contact the Salisbury Police Department at 410-548-3165 or Crime Solvers at 410-548-1776. Police say Crime Solvers will pay up to $1,000 for tips that lead to arrest.
