WILMINGTON, Del. - A man is in critical condition after a pedestrian-involved crash in Wilmington.

The incident occurred on Wednesday around 7:30PM.  Investigators say 31-year-old Nicholos Lingo of Wilmington was attempting to cross the northbound lanes of Limestone Road north of Sandy Drive, which is not within a designated crosswalk, when he was struck by a minivan operated by 58-year-old Kerry Mullin of Wilmington.

Police say Lingo suffered traumatic injuries and was transported to the Christiana Hospital Trauma Center where he was admitted in critical condition. Mullin along with a 53-year-old female passenger were not injured. This investigation is on-going.
