Give Back With "Stuff The Bus" This Weekend

Posted: Updated:

WMDT 47 NEWS - "Giving Tuesday" may be over, but the giving spirit continues this holiday season. Several of our local radio partners are hosting events to help those in need, including our friends at Froggy 99.9.

This Saturday they will be hosting the 9th Annual Stuff the Bus Event. They will be at four area Wal-Mart stores collecting unwrapped toys, non-perishable food items and even cash donations. "The really cool thing that we see is when kids actually come on the bus and I think they get a full understanding of, I get it, now I put a toy on a bus for someone that may go to class with me, that I may know that is on hard times," says Froggy's Randy Scott of "The Whiskey & Randy Show."

Stuff the bus runs from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Saturday, December, 7th.
