Information Sought On Alleged Puppy Thief In Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. - Police are looking to identify a man, who they say, stole a puppy from a Salisbury pet store.

Salisbury Police say on Friday, around 6:50 PM, a white male took a 10-week-old red dachshund from a crate, snuck it into his jacket, and left the Super Pet store on Civic Avenue. The dog is reportedly valued at $900.

The suspect, seen here to the right, is described as a white male, 6' 2" tall, weighting 240 pounds, around 25-year-old, wearing an Orioles baseball hat, a black jacket, and jeans.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Salisbury Police Department at 410-548-3165 or Crime Solvers at 410-548-1776. Crime Solvers will pay up to $1,000 for tips that lead to arrest.
