Two Arrested In Connection With Armed Robbery In Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. - Salisbury Police say two men are behind bars after being arrested and charged in connection to an armed robbery in Salisbury.

According to reports, Salisbury Police responded to a reported armed robbery on the 700 block of South Salisbury Blvd. on Saturday night around 10:40 PM. Police say an investigation revealed that the victim was approached by two suspected who demanded money cigarettes, and his cell phone.

Reports say one of the suspects put a handgun to the victim's chest as the other suspect took the items. The suspects then took off on foot. The victim was not injured.

Police say a short while later, an officer observed two men enter a taxi on South Division Street that matched the description given by the victim. That officer reportedly pulled the cab over and Police say the two subjects were then identified by the victim. Reports say a handgun was recovered from the cab and the victim's cell phone and cigarettes were found in one of the suspect's pants pocket.

According to reports, Alan Lawrence, 19, of Salisbury and Terrance White, 23, of Salisbury were both arrested. Both men now face multiple charges including armed robbery and reckless endangerment.
