DOVER, Del. (AP) - A state regulatory panel is considering a request by Delaware authorities to suspend the license of a Bridgeville funeral director charged with fraud.

Deborah Harris-Nock of Bridgeville was charged last month with perjury, criminal impersonation and theft. Authorities allege that she told a register of wills that she was the niece of a deceased woman, fraudulently named herself executrix, then withdrew more than $9,000 from the dead woman's estate.

The attorney general's office announced last week that it had filed an emergency motion before the state Board of Funeral Services seeking to temporarily suspend Harris-Nock's license.

The board was to consider the request at its meeting Tuesday in Dover.
