Information Sought On Saturday Evening Car Fire In Linkwood

LINKWOOD, Md. - A car fire is under investigation in Dorchester County.

The Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office says a fire that started on the inside of a 2006 BMW 6 Series around 7:00 PM on Saturday, on Beaver Neck Road in Linkwood.

The blaze, which was discovered by a passerby, took 4 firefighters from the Linkwood-Salem Fire Department, 10 minutes to control. Damages are estimated at $20,000.

Officials are still investigating the cause, with assistance from the Dorchester County Sheriff's Office. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact the Salisbury Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office at 410-713-3780.
