Police Arrest Easton Man For Theft Case

EASTON, Md. - Easton Police say they arrested an Easton man who was wanted in regards to a theft case.

According to reports, at around 7:50 PM on Friday, the Easton Police Department Detective observed William White, 29, of Easton, walking on South Washington Street.  The detective reportedly had knowledge that White was currently wanted in regards to a theft case, and placed White under arrest.

The warrant reportedly charges white with three counts of theft and one count of theft Scheme. The charges originated between October 23rd and November 5th when White was observed and identified from surveillance video in an Easton Acme store stealing numerous food items totaling more than $1,000.

Police say white was seen by a District Court Commissioner and lodged in the Talbot County Detention Center on $7,500 bond.
