DOVER, Del. - Delaware State Police say a Maryland man was arrested yesterday and charged with fourth offense DUI, after becoming disorderly at the McDonalds on 1704 East Lebanon Road.

According to reports, shortly after 6:00 PM, troopers received calls from motorists reporting an intoxicated driver operating a 1996 Lincoln Town Car in the Dover area. Around 6:45 PM, troopers say they responded to the McDonalds on East Lebanon Road after employees reported the same vehicle in the drive-through with the driver harassing employees and threatening to ram other vehicles.

When Troopers arrived, they allegedly found the driver of the car, Bryan Gunther, 48, of Elkton, inside of the restaurant acting disorderly. He was reportedly taken into custody and a search of his vehicle resulted in the recovery of 6.1 grams of Marijuana.

Troopers say Gunther was transported to Troop 3 and determined to be under the influence of alcohol and marijuana.  He was reportedly charged with fourth offense DUI, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while suspended or revoked, disorderly conduct, and several traffic charges. Troopers say he was committed to James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on $20,403 cash bail.
