DOVER, Del. - Shotgun deer season will begin Friday in Delaware.
The Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control says the season runs from Friday to Nov. 23, and Jan. 18 to Jan. 25.
Muzzleloaders also may be used during these dates, and may be equipped with scopes.
Most residents are required to buy a Delaware hunting license. Deer must be tagged immediately after harvest, and tags must remain attached until the deer is processed.
Hunters must register their deer within 24 hours of harvest.
