Salisbury City Employees Will Officially See Pay Increase

SALISBURY, Md. - Salisbury's nearly 400 city employees will officially see an increase in pay.

The city council passed the proposal tonight, that will allocate savings from a prior budget for the increases.

The proposal comes from a $40,000 study by Evergreen Solutions LLC, which found 80 percent of city employees earn less than the mid-point of their pay ranges.

City council members tell WMDT that the proposal will go into effect on January 11th.
