GEORGETOWN, Del. - Whether it's auspicious or just easy to remember, couples love getting married on dates that have sequential patterns, like on November 12, 2013.

One of those happy couples, Carrie Gee and Danica Kay Armstrong allowed WMDT  into the Sussex County clerk of the peace office to film their special day, as they exchanged their vows in front of close family and friends.

WMDT spoke with the clerk right the wedding, talking about why the significance of "11-12-13."

"It's a date they can remember and they like numbers in sequence and it's probably the second most favorite date right behind Valentine's Day."

Brady says he presided over six sequential weddings on Tuesday. David's Bridal estimates, according to their numbers, that more than 3,300 couples got married on 11-12-13. That's a nearly eight-fold increase over the same date last year. There is only one more chance to score a sequential wedding date this century: December 13th, 2014.
