Suspect Sought In Dover Strong Armed Robbery

DOVER, Del. - Police are investigating the strong armed robbery of a Dover convenient store.

Delaware State Police say on Monday night, around 6:00 PM, a man walked into the Shore Stop on South DuPont Highway, pulled out a gun, and demanded money from the 30-year-old female employee.

The clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of cash, before the suspect fled towards the Rodney Village neighborhood. No one was injured during the incident.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5' 9" - 6' tall, weighting 145 - 160 pounds, last seen wearing a black hooded jacket with white draw strings and a baseball hat under the hood, light colored blue jeans, and black sneakers, and armed with a handgun.
