SALISBURY, Md. - Friday marked the third day of the Eastern Shore Classic. The annual event includes five all-breed dog shows, obedience trials and rally trials.
And the event isn't just for competitors, organizers say it can be of great value to spectators. "If you're interested in purchasing a dog, you can look at the dogs and see what breed you think you might like and then choose a dog that's right for you," says Assistant Show Chairman of the Salisbury Kennel Club, Mary Ann Bruton.
If you missed Friday's events, not to worry, the event runs through the weekend opening each day at 8:30 AM and closing down at 4:30 in the afternoon. Saturday and Sunday's shows have been designated as Obedience Qualifiers for the 2014 AKC Obedience Invitational. Admission sets you back $5.00 for adults and $1.00 for students.
