Posted: Updated:

SALISBURY, Md. - Police are looking for a suspect after a strong armed robbery on Thursday.

Salisbury Police say around 1:55 AM, a man was walking on E. Vine Street, when the suspect approached him from behind, and punched the victim in the head. According to the report, the victim fell to the ground, and the suspect demanded money and a cell phone from him. Police say the suspect fled on foot after getting the items.

The victim was taken to PRMC for a head injury. The suspect is described as a black male, 5' 8" tall, with a thin build, with long black hair, around 26-years-old, last seen wearing a long sleeved white t-shirt.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Salisbury Police at 410-548-3165 or Crime Solvers at 410-548-1776. Crime Solvers is offering an up to $1,000 reward for tips that lead to an arrest.

This was one of three reportedly unrelated robbery incidents in Salisbury on Thursday morning. Police say they are still looking for two suspects in an armed robbery at the Royal Farms on S. Division Street and three suspects in an armed robbery at Thirsty's on E. Church Street.
