Posted: Updated:

GOOD MORNING DELMARVA – Coming soon is Jeanne Du Nord's newest novel! Be sure to check out Best of Spirits.

It has historic settings, exotic locations, transgender, stiletto heels, spiders, snakes, wickedness, goodness, romance, an explosion, a car chase, and the kitchen sink!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Jeanne du Nord began her professional career in the theatre at age 12, working on Broadway and in television - even singing to a chimp named J. Fred Muggs.

She attended school in Baltimore, then college (Roanoke College, Salem Virginia) and the University of Virginia. She earned a Bachelors Degree in French and English Literature and a Masters Degree in Comparative Linguistics. When the University of Virginia opened a branch at Wallops Island, Virginia, she joined the faculty and moved to the Eastern Shore.

In 1970, she bought historic Linden Hill in Princess Anne, Maryland and began its restoration. When the University of Virginia branch closed in 1971, she remained on the Eastern Shore to continue the house restoration, to write for newspapers and magazines, and to teach 'Creative Writing for Publication' at local colleges.

During that time, her research studies veered off to Celtic history which she has made her specialty for the past 35 years. She studied the Bardic Tradition and was admitted to The Order of Strathclyde Bards. Two of her books, The Quest For The Grail and The Celtic Quest were inspired by these years of study.

A series of lectures based on The Quest For The Grail have been presented on their sites in Britain including stories From the 'Shadows of the Stone Circles' at Stonehenge, 'Ladies of the Court' at Tintagel, 'Merlin' in Carmarthan, and 'Knights of the Round Table' at Caerphilly Castle, Wales.
