WMDT 47 NEWS - In a special series of reports you will only see on WMDT 47 News, our station teams up with the Wicomico County Sheriff's office in an effort to bring their "Most Wanted Fugitives" to justice.

The Sheriff's office has approximately 1,510 wanted suspects in their database but they gave us the details on the top eight individuals they want off the streets now, in hopes that someone out there on Delmarva can help track them down.

"It's worthwhile," stresses Lt. Tim Robinson with the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office. "...getting these names, these pictures, out there. Because somebody, in our community knows information that can help bring these people to justice."

This is the second year in a row WMDT joined forces with the sheriff's office on this effort. "The last time we did this, it was so successful, two individuals who saw themselves profiled, they came in and turned themselves in at the sheriff's office," explains Lt. Robinson. "And we had somebody else call us right away, so we could find a third. This is a very beneficial."
