FELTON, Del. - Delaware State Police detectives say they are currently investigating a Felton home invasion that occurred in the early morning hours on Saturday.

According to reports, the incident occurred at approximately 3:55 AM yesterday morning, as two subjects entered the residence located in the unit block of Pin Oak Court in Canterbury Mobile Home Park.  Upon entering, one of the suspects reportedly confronted a 20-year-old female victim who was asleep on the couch and covered her mouth in an attempt to keep her from screaming, while the other suspect approached and struck her once in the head with an unknown type handgun.

Troopers say the noise from the struggle alerted the other two females who were sleeping in their bedrooms, to come to the living room where the two suspects forced them to the ground and demanded their money.  Unable to produce and cash, the suspects allegedly removed one of the female's phones and then fled the residence in an unknown direction.  Troopers say none of the victims were injured in this incident.

A comprehensive investigation reportedly ensued and it was determined through interviews that one of the suspects was identified as Delonzo Powell.  Detectives say they obtained a warrant for Powell's arrest, but have been unable to locate him at this time. Powell is also allegedly wanted by Smyrna Police Department from a robbery that was committed in December of 2011.

Detectives are asking anyone who may have any information as to the whereabouts of Delonzo Powell or information on the second suspect to contact Det. D. Coleman at 302-741-2813 or by calling Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.
