EASTON, Md. - Easton Police say a traffic stop led to an arrest on Friday.
According to reports, at around 11:45 PM, Easton Police stopped a vehicle on Dover Road for speeding. Officers say they made contact with the driver, Edward Bridwell, 23, of Preston, who appeared to have been drinking. Police say they got Bridwell out of the car and found him to have a strong odor of marijuana. After searching his car, police reportedly found a small amount of suspected marijuana in his console and bag.
Police say Bridwell was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while impaired, speeding, and possession of marijuana. He was allegedly released until trial.
