Planned Salisbury Armed Robbery Co-Conspirator Sentenced

Posted: Updated:

WICOMICO CO., Md. - A suspect in a planned armed robbery in May will spend the next 18 months behind bars.

A Wicomico County judge sentenced 23-year-old Nick Stuetz on Tuesday for his role. The state's attorney's office tells WMDT that Stuetz cannot contact any of the co-defendants or victims in the case and will be on probations for three years after serving the sentence.

State's attorney Matt Maciarello says Stuetz played a role in a group effort to recover $10,000 worth of marijuana. Stuetz allegedly stood by as accomplices held two men hostage with a shotgun and baseball bat.
