UPDATE: Bundick To Seek New Counsel

Posted: Updated:

ACCOMACK CO., Va. - For nearly seven months, an accused arsonist's attorney looked to extinguish claims against her client. Now, she's officially off the case, and the trial won't start next week.

On Tuesday, an Accomack County judge officially removed Shannon Dunham and her husband as the defense team for Tonya Bundick. They will stay on as counsel until the court finds a new lawyer.

Because of this decision, Bundick's trial won't start next week, which was supposed to begin November 6th in Virginia Beach. This is the second such motion in a week.

Bundick faces two charges for her alleged role in a nearly four month long arson spree in Accomack County.
