Man Charged In Connection With August Stabbing In Cambridge

CAMBRIDGE, Md. - Police have made an arrest in an August stabbing. Cambridge Police say they extradited Timothy Spencer, from Boston, Massachusetts, on October 25th.

He was charged with 1st and 2nd degree assault, reckless endangerment, and possession of a deadly weapon with intent to injure, in connection with the August 18th, 2013 stabbing of his estranged girlfriend. According to the report, Spencer had stabbed the woman several times, at a home on Belvedere Avenue. Spencer is reportedly being held on 1,000,000 bond on these offenses.

Spencer was additionally charged by the Dorchester County Sheriff's Office, after being wanted on 6 different warrants. He was charged with trespassing on private property, harassment, 1st and 2nd degree assault, reckless endangerment, possession of a deadly weapon with intent to injure, failure to appear, revocation of bond, violation of probation, and absconding from justice.

Spencer was held on no bond, for four of the warrants, and 1,200,000 bond on the other two.
