UPDATE: Wicomico Co. Sheriff Seeking Alleged Burglary Suspect

WICOMICO CO., Md. - The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office tells WMDT a suspect is being sought in the area of Old Ocean City Road for an alleged burglary this morning.

The alleged sexual assault happened around 6:30 AM Thursday morning, during the burglary of a home in the 31000 block of Old Ocean City Road.

Authorities say the suspect is not a danger to the public, and no weapons were displayed in the incident. Police say there's no reason to believe the two knew each other. Officials from the Sheriff's Office say no injuries have been reported.
