SALISBURY, Md. - Police say they have made an arrest, in connection with two robberies that happened on Monday in Wicomico County.

Salisbury Police say on Tuesday night, around 10:30 PM, officers saw the suspect vehicle from the Vintage Beverage robbery on Snow Hill Road near Vine Street, so they tried to conduct a traffic stop.

According to the report, the suspect sped away, crashing at E. Main Street and E. Church Street. The suspect, 42-year-old Ruben Arnaz Collins, of Salisbury, reportedly fled on foot after the crash, but was apprehended shortly after.

Collins was treated at PRMC and released before being charged. No one else was injured during the ordeal.

Police say they were able to link Collins to the Vintage Beverage armed robbery, and charged him with 2 counts of armed robbery, 2 counts of assault, theft, and attempted theft.

He was additionally charged with fleeing and eluding, obstructing and hindering, and resisting arrest. Police continue to investigate other recent robberies, and additional charges are reportedly pending.
