WICOMICO CO., Md. - Police are looking for a suspect after his alleged involvement in two morning robberies in Wicomico County on Monday morning.

The Wicomico Bureau of Investigations says just before 7:55 AM, a man walked into the Parsonsburg Quik Stop with a knife, and demanded money. According to the report, the clerk reached below the counter, which reportedly made the suspect flee without taking anything, thinking an alarm had been pushed.

A little while later, around 8:25 AM, at Vintage Beverage on Snow Hill Road at Shiloh Street, Police believe a that same suspect, walked in again with a knife and demanded money. This time the suspect did reportedly get away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

WBI says they are investigating the two cases, which are now linked. Police describe the suspect as an African American man, with a stocky build, wearing a gray hoodie, dark jeans, black shoes, and armed with a kitchen steak knife. He reportedly drove a tan or gold 4 door sedan, possibly a Mazda 626, to both scenes.

Anyone with information about either case is asked to contact the Wicomico Bureau of Investigations at 410-548-4898 or Crime Solvers at 410-548-1776.
