Pocomoke Man Charged With Assault And Theft In Stockton

STOCKTON, Md. - A Pocomoke City man was arrested, after allegedly pulling a gun during a drug transaction.

The Worcester County Bureau of Investigation says on Tuesday, 25-year-old Ecentral Francois, was involved in a drug transaction, in Stockton, when he pulled out a gun and forcibly took the drugs.

An investigation used the license plate on the vehicle to identify Francois. The Worcester County Sheriff's Office and the Pocomoke City Police Department assisted in the arrest.

Francois was charged with armed robbery, 2nd degree assault, and theft under $1,000.
