House Fire In Somerset Co. Ruled Arson

CHANCE, Md. - The State Fire Marshall's office has ruled the cause of a house fire yesterday in Somerset County as arson.

According to reports, around 9:40 in the morning the blaze broke out on the first floor of a house on the 23000 block of Cemetery Road.

The single alarm blaze took 20 firefighters about 45 minutes to control. The blaze reportedly caused about $30000 in damages.

No injuries were reported.

Authorities are asking anyone with any information on the fire to call 410-713-3780.
