MDA Asks For Input On Manure Management Technologies

MARYLAND - The Maryland Department of Agriculture (MDA) says they are asking for input from vendors, businesses, and individuals offering technologies, equipment, infrastructure, or services that can improve the management and utilization of manure and other agricultural waste resources.

According to reports, by finding ways to handle or use this waste, it may make it easier for individuals to abide by Maryland's nutrient management regulations. The MDA reportedly has $2.5 million available to invest in these types of innovative technologies during State Fiscal Year 2014, which ends June 30, 2014.

The MDA is inviting vendors, businesses and individuals to completing a questionnaire  on the MDA website. Completed questionnaires should be sent or faxed by close of business on Wednesday October 16, to:
