SUSSEX CO., Del. - Despite some questions over the country's financial standing, one local non-profit says they're actually doing better than expected.

CHEER Incorporated in Sussex County, which provides nutrition and other services for seniors, says Governor Jack Markell included funding for the center in this year's budget, allowing the organization to provide services for more seniors in need than usual.

Because CHEER does also rely on community contributions, representatives say they are still looking for donations.
