Ocean Pines Community Center Collection Pink Lids

OCEAN PINES, Md. - A local community center is collecting yogurt lids to raise money for breast cancer.

Through the end of the year, the Ocean Pines Community Center, on Ocean Parkway, is serving as a drop-off location for clean PINK Yoplait yogurt lids.

General Mills & Yoplait are donating 10 cents for every lid collected, and each code entered, to Susan G. Komen, for a maximum donation of up to $1,500,000.

Officials say the collection container is set up in the lobby of the Community Center.
