UPDATE: Arrest Made In July Seaford Hit And Run

Posted: Updated:

SEAFORD, Del. - Police have made an arrest in a July hit and run that reportedly left a 30-year-old Blades woman dead. Seaford Police say they have arrested 20-year-old Antrell Smack, of Laurel, in connection with the July 10th incident, where a woman was run over by an SUV on Third Street, near Front Street.

Investigators say that the victim, 30-year-old Dana Passwaters, was involved in a possible drug transaction, when she grabbed onto the vehicle, which then reportedly ran her over. Police say the SUV then fled the scene.

Smack was charged with leaving the scene of an accident where death occurred. He turned himself in on Friday, and is now being held on Sussex Correctional Institute on $3,000 bond.
