Saint Peters Episcopal Church Blesses Animals In Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. - Saint Peters Episcopal Church celebrated the Feast of Saint Francis on October 5th with a blessing of the animals.

Local dogs and cats were given blessing by Reverend Michaud. The day is in honor of Saint Francis, the Catholic church's patron saint of animals.  his was the first year reverend Michaud performed the service, and he hopes to get more animals next year.
