Delaware Announces Proposed Medical Marijuana Regulations

Posted: Updated:

DELAWARE -  The First State is moving forward with its medical marijuana program, releasing preliminary regulations for the program.

The rules range from instituting 24-hour video monitoring, to financial accounting controls.

Permitted medical marijuana compassion centers will also be limited to growing up to 150 plants, for an inventory of no more than 1,500 ounces.

After a 30-day comment period on the regulations, the division of public health hopes to start evaluating bids for dispensaries by March of 2014.
