PRMC Hosts 20th Annual Drive-Thru Flu Clinic

Posted: Updated:

SALISBURY, Md. - The first case of the flu for the season was confirmed in Maryland today, and dozens of people in Salisbury readied their defenses at the 20th annual Drive-Thru Flu Clinic.

The two-day event hosted by PRMC makes getting vaccinated against the flu quick and easy, and painless, according to Roger Fallebout, Community Relations Director at Peninsula Regional Medical Center.

As cars rolled through the tent at Shorebirds Stadium, passengers filled out paperwork and got a shot - all without getting out of the car.

"We expect to have close to 5,000 vaccinations given out this year," PRMC spokesperson Roger Fallebout said.

The clinic runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, and a $10 donation is requested.
