Selbyville Man Charged In Delmar Stabbing

DELMAR, Del. - A Selbyville man is accused of stabbing a person in a Delmar parking lot over the weekend. Delmar Police say they responded to the Delmar Commons Shopping Center for a reported stabbing, on Sunday.

Once on scene, officers located the apparent victim, who had numerous stab wounds to their body. The victim was rushed to PRMC, where they are listed in stable condition.

An investigation lead to the arrest of 22-year-old Jesse Jarvis, of Selbyville. He was charged with 1st degree assault, aggravated menacing, 1st degree reckless endangering, and disorderly conduct. He is being held at Sussex Correctional Institution on $41,000 cash bond.
