Harrington Police Arrest Two NJ Men For Attempted Burglary

HARRINGTON, Del. - Harrington Police say two New Jersey Men were arrested and charged with Attempted Burglary and related charges by the Harrington Police Department in the early morning hours on September 28th.

According to reports, officers came into contact with the suspects in the parking lot of Midway Shopping Center after a witness saw the two men dressed in black and wearing ski masks behind a business.  When officers arrived in the area, the suspects reportedly fled on foot through the parking lot, however were quickly taken into custody. Both suspects had allegedly attempted to gain entry into a business in the shopping center, and were believed to be attempting to burglarize another before officers intervened. Police say Kareem Crouch, 31 and Arthur Reynolds, 61, both of Atlantic City, New Jersey were subsequently charged with Possession of Burglar Tools, Attempted Burglary third degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence Resisting Arrest, Criminal Mischief, and Criminal Trespass third degree. They were reportedly committed to SCI in lieu of $17,501 secured bond.  

Police say both suspects were linked to similar crimes in Middletown and Milford, Delaware as well as Arlington, Virginia.  There are reportedly pending investigations with related crimes in other Delaware Jurisdictions as well as surrounding states.
