UPDATE: Two Pled Guilty In Murder Of Greenwood Couple

SUSSEX CO., Del. - Two people have pleaded guilty to the April 2012 murders of a couple in their Greenwood home. Earlier this month, Michael Emory and Christina Evick pleaded guilty to the April 2012 murders of Harvey and Carolyn Cashwell.

On September 11th, Emory pleaded guilty to 4 counts of 1st degree murder, 7 counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, 1st degree burglary, 1st degree robbery, and theft $50,000. The 4 murder charges, are because under Delaware State law, each death gets both a felony and an intentional murder charge.

Evick pleaded guilty on September 18th, to 2 counts of criminally negligent homicide, 1st degree burglary, possession of a firearm during the commission of a robbery, 1st degree robbery, and theft $50,000.

Both Emory and Evick are set to be sentenced on November 1st. For Emory, Each murder charge carries a mandatory prison sentence of life, while the other charges are expected to carry between 26 and 223 years. Evick faces between 8 to 99 years.
