Psychologist Weighs In On Violent Video Games

Posted: Updated:

WMDT 47 News - Raking in $800 Million in just one day, Grand Theft Auto V is a video game juggernaut.

Despite carrying an MA rating for sexuality and graphic violence, including some against animals, the game can still be a favorite among children.

"If you're spending an excessive amount of time on video games, you're going to get very good at that and also really internalize the information that game is presenting to you, says Dr. Mark Todd.

Another worry experts have, children becoming desensitized to violence.
