UPDATE: Tonya Bundick Released On Bond

Posted: Updated:

ACCOMACK CO., Va. - Following a judge's ruling made back in August, a suspect in the Accomack arsons has been released on bond. Tonya Bundick, 40, left Accomack County Jail just after 1:00 PM on a $30,000 secured bond.

"Two to three people" co-signed her bond, according to Eastern Shore Bail Bonds. Her bond rate was set back on August 16th with the contingency that she could be released only by a professional bail bondsman and could not travel outside of Accomack and Northampton Counties unless by medical necessity or emergency.

Bundick was released at 10 percent or $3,000. She and her lawyer, Shannon Dunham both declined comments to speak. She is currently charged with two counts of arson dating back to her alleged involvement for an April 1st arson.

Right now, Bundick is set to stand trial on November 6th at Accomack County Circuit Court.

Bundick is accused of performing these crimes with her fiance, Charles Smith.
